Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6pm by Chairman, Ann Farley

Present were Selectmen: Edie Harnden, Allen Crabtree, Ann Farley, Jeff Harriman, Dana Batchelder; Jim Smith Guests present; Chris Parker, Daniel Kiesman, Don Olden, Jim Libby, Mike MacVicar, Tim Anderson, Paul DeBonis, Phil Lowe, Ben Bowditch, Norman Storey, Shanna Chamberlain, Carl Dolloff, Alan Greene, Ed Fitzgerald, Carol Mayberry, and Tim Mayberry.

Don Olden brought up the fact that culverts need to be cleaned out, tar patch applied on roads, and an A frame on 114 needs inspection by Town Manager for safety evaluation.
Alan Greene stated that the hydrant on Molly Lane is not functioning and the easement needs to be researched for clarification of ownership and who is responsible for maintenance. Jim will look into.
Jim Libby hoping to have summer school lunch program again this year and asked for approval from the Board of Selectmen as before. Allen made the motion for approval, seconded by Jeff. Motion carried 5-0.

Allen explained the bonding process and the need for a 5% contingency to cover change orders and unexpected expenses. A Clerk of the Works was discussed for oversight of the project. Money would need to be added to the financial package to fund this position.
The Board of Selectmen discussed the pros and cons of owning a grader vs contracting out. After a lengthy discussion, Allen made a motion to put in a bid for $13,001 to the Town of Raymond. $6,000 to be paid from the current budget, and the remainder to be paid from the 2012-2013 budget. Jeff seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-2 with Ann and Edie in opposition.

Documents were signed by the sole abutter and Town Manager for Map 016, Lot 019
VII. Reports from Town Officials
Dana; granite steps on Town Office Hill dangerous and in need of repair. It was suggested that railings be installed. He proposed erosion mulch be used along road to Town Office and noted that cemeteries had many broken stones in need of repair. Also the need for loam for sunken graves.
Allen asked Jim to respond to the communication from Tony Schwieterman regarding his well status as an abutter to the Town Hall.
Edie; Updated the Board of Selectmen on the weatherization program as well as her plans for the fuel assistance fundraising.
Phil Lowe presented the Board of Selectmen with grading specs for gravel roads as proposed by the Road Committee
Jeff made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Allen @ 7:20pm. Motion carried 5-0.
