Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4pm by Chairman, Ann Farley

  • Signing of June 12, 2012 Fire/Rescue Referendum Warrant
Documents were before the BOS containing an Order to Place Article on Ballot of Special Town Meeting Referendum and To Call Public Hearing. According to the Town's attorney, because the Town has an elected Budget Committee, they need to recommend to approve, disapprove, or pass on the above Warrant Article Referendum and Public Hearing. Jim Libby and Don Olden decided to pass on the Article

Allen explained the bond figure increase to $830,000 due to the addition of $10,000 for Clerk of the Works. A bridge BAN for three months would be in place with the bank and an application filed with the MBBA before the August deadline.

Dana, Jim, and Jeff have visited two building projects completed by the low bidder, Security Construction, and the report was very favorable. Jim contacted several references citing customer satisfaction, good follow up on completion of work, and work done on a timely fashion. Security Construction willing to hire local contractors as is feasible.
Allen made the motion to sign the Fire/ Rescue Building Referendum Warrant with the budget Committee passing on the Article. Seconded by Dana. Motion carried 4-0.

  • Ambulance Services for Baldwin
Tim Smith informed the BOS that the Town of Baldwin is asking for a proposal for the Town of Sebago to provide Ambulance service. Tim reluctant to enter into an agreement with Baldwin at this time stating he needs Sebago to be more financially solvent as well as a more stable staffing. situation.  After further discussion, Allen made the motion to not enter into a proposal with Baldwin seconded by Dana. Motion carried 4-0.

Dana made a motion to adjourn at 5:15 seconded by Edie. Motion carried 4-0
