Article 20 To see is the Town wishes to authorize the Board of Selectmen to approve use of town-owned land for building a new fire station, contingent on obtaining funding, permits and site plan approval. No funds are being requested for this action.
Jeff Harriman made a motion to approve the article as read. It was seconded by Maureen Harriman. Alan Greene stated that there is stimulus money available that may help the town build a Public Safety Building. This article would allow us to apply for the funds. Greg Smith made a motion to table this article. It was seconded by Maureen Harriman. Motion failed. After more discussion, the article as read carried.
