1. Review draft language recommendations to Chapter 3, Maine State Aids to Navigation System.
a. Rule change asks for authority to allow municipalities to designate an anchorage area on a great pond within the municipality’s jurisdiction and beyond the Water Safety Zone.
b. Schedule a meeting with the Director, Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands
2. Review 7th draft of the Sebago Mooring Regulations Ordinance
a. Change from 2-Zone system (Shorefront and Designated Mooring Zones) based on distance from shore (100’ and 200’) to 2 types of anchorages (Designated Mooring and Open Shoreline) based on congestion and need.
b. Inclusion of Shorefront Owner Moorings (Section 7.3) to comply with Maine law.
c. Rules for moorings in Open Shoreline Anchorages (Section 7.4)
d. Rules for moorings in Designated Mooring Anchorages (Section 7.5)
e. Fee schedules (Appendix C)
3. Schedule the next meeting and make follow-on assignments as needed.
