       There will be a Regular Meeting of the Lake Region School Board
       on Monday, June 6, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m., following Employee
       Recognition in the Great Room at Lake Region Vocational Center.   

  • Note: Employee Recognition will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a Reception followed by award presentations at 6:30 p.m.
  • There will be a Facilities Committee meeting on Monday, June 6,
           2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at Lake Region Vocational

              Feeding Program to cover salaries, carts, printing, food, and

          (2) A grant was received from the Maine Dairy & Nutrition Council has
             donated $200.00 for three Fuel Up to Play Milk Coolers – Summer
              Feeding Program.
          (3) A grant was received from the Maine Department of Education Child
              Nutrition/United States Department of Agriculture for $16,250 for
              the Fresh Fruit & Veggie Snack Program at Stevens Brook Elementary
              School  
          (4) A grant was received from Maine Cardiovascular Health Council for a
              new AED for the Central Office valued at $750.00.
          (5) A School Breakfast Mini-grant was received for $1,500.00 – Full
              Plates Full Potential School Breakfast in the classroom program in
              the fall for Songo Locks and Sebago Elementary Schools
      F.  Donations
         (1) A donation was received from Robert and Carmen Caron of electrical
              equipment items with a value of $6,500.00
         (2) E. Allen Russell of Fryeburg of is donating approximately 1,500
              board feet of red and white oak, pine, and beechnut boards, valued
             at $5,000.  The boards will be shared between the high school,
              middle school, vocational programs, and the maintenance department.  
          (3) David Bartlett is donating Hach (the brand) water testing
              equipment, including a mass spectrophotometer, to Lake Region
              Middle School.  The equipment is valued at $1,500.00
