EMERGENCY MEETING
April 12, 2011
There was an Emergency Meeting of the Lake Region School Board on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 12:00 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chairperson Warner opened the meeting. Board members present were:
Janice Barter, Kenneth Brown, Beth Chaplin, Richard Merritt, Lesley Niemy, Donna Norton, Laura Ordway, Karla Swanson-Murphy, and Patrick Phillips, Superintendent of Schools.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Janice Barter, seconded by Beth Chaplin, to approve the Agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Personnel Matter
A motion was made by Janice Barter, seconded by Donna Norton, to go into Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter, pursuant to M.R.S.A. 405 6.A. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board went into Executive Session at 12:01 p.m. and returned to Public Session at 12:22 p.m.
Negotiations
A motion was made by Laura Ordway, seconded by Donna Norton, to table the Negotiations discussion until the April 25 Board meeting, if needed, or the Regular Meeting on May 2. Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 12:23 p.m.
