SPECIAL MEETING
May 26, 2012
A Special Meeting of the Lake Region School Board was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Office.
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Jody Gray called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Board members present were: Janice Barter, Beth Chaplin, Jody Gray, Cindy LeBlanc, Richard Merritt, Laurie Mondville, Donna Norton, Laura Ordway, Erica Pond Green, and Trina Sanborn. Sherry Miller, Philip Shane, and Karla Swanson-Murphy were absent.
ACTION ITEM
Ratification of Teachers’ Negotiated Agreement
A motion was made by Janice Barter, seconded by Donna Norton, to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Lake Region Teachers Association and the Board of Directors of School Administrative District No. 61 for the period September 1 through August 31, 2013.
Superintendent Beecher shared the changes in the contract.
Vote: Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Janice Barter, seconded by Donna Norton, to adjourn.
Motion carried unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
