Flags have arrived and I will co-ordinate with the Girls Scouts and 4H clubs to help place the flags on Veteran’s graves.

Public Works has been busy fixing the washouts from the rainstorms and are currently working on the Folly Rd.

Brandon looked at the Historical Society, he stated although the building is very old, it is structurally sound.

Brandon also looked at the old town garage and we will be doing a mold test.  In as much, I have not been able to locate a written agreement with the Lion’s Club to use the building for storage.

DOT will be doing a small drainage/storm water management project on Long Hill Rd.  Wayne and I will be meeting with Randy on Wednesday, May 9th to discuss the project.

Time line for the school budget is currently that the budget meeting will be on June 2 (Town Meeting).  It will be up to the Board of Selectmen whether to have Town Meeting first or School Budget.  The validation vote will take place on June 12th.

RECORDER’S NOTE: After checking with MMA (Maine Municipal Association) it was determined that the Town Meeting must be held first then the School Budget meeting can be held after it.
